On April 6, 2017, we had the honour of once again sponsoring the Port Moody Soccer Club in their Awards Night. It was another exciting evening recognizing the abundance of talent in the PoMo Soccer Club! In celebrating the achievements of the exemplary youth in our community, and congratulating them in their teamwork and leadership, we were pleased to be able to present the awards for Best Boys Player and Best Girls Player.
Congratulations to Jaxson Amyotte (who was unable to attend), Best Boys Player with the U16 Division 2 Gunners, and Taryn Mills, Best Girls Player in U14 MSL, both of whom received 4 Vancouver Whitecaps tickets!
We also had the pleasure of delighting two of our young player attendees with signed Whitecaps jerseys! Rachel Ahren was the winner of the #13 Christian Techera Whitecaps jersey. Wesley Carson, who plays for the BU12 United team, was the winner of a signed #26 Tim Parker Whitecaps jersey! The signed jerseys were kindly donated by the Vancouver Whitecaps FC; thank you #VWFC.
Congratulations to all of the players, parents, and other members the Port Moody Soccer Club, for your commitment and dedication, and thank you for your contribution towards the wonderful quality of life we enjoy in Port Moody! We had such a good time being among so many great youth and adults, and we hope to see you all again next year!
